David and Dana Vestal were married in 1986 and began their ministry journey in 1987 as youth pastors. From 1987 to 1997, while David served as a Dallas Police Officer, the two continued ministering to youth and churches as special guests. During that time, David was part of Cops and the Cross, where he and Dana were featured as radio guests on several stations and appeared on Life Today Television.

In 1994, they founded Daybreak Ministry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving churches and supporting widows, orphans, and single mothers. By 1999, they had entered full-time ministry, serving as associate pastor and worship leader. Soon after, they were commissioned by their home church, Sojourn Church, to plant Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, where they faithfully served as senior and founding pastors for 15 years.

Since 2010, David and Dana have supported and been actively involved in Mexico Ministries, where they have witnessed more than 450 churches planted. They are honored to serve alongside Pogue Missions and their team, sharing in the vision of reaching communities and equipping leaders.

Today, their hearts remain focused on strengthening pastors and churches across the United States, Mexico, and abroad. They are the founders of the Relational Church Network (RCN), through which they walk alongside leaders, helping churches thrive in relational health and strategic design. Dana has also partnered with Judy Pogue Ministries since 2017, ministering in Peru, Germany, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and other international settings.

Together, David and Dana are grateful parents of three grown children and proud grandparents of three. They make their home in Frisco, Texas, and continue to carry out their calling to serve widows, orphans, single mothers, pastors, and churches both locally and globally.
